AlbionCore — Tools for Albion Online Players
A fast web app that turns market and crafting data into decisions players can trust

AlbionCore is a suite of decision tools for players of the MMO Albion Online. It pulls live market and game data and turns it into clear answers: what is actually profitable to craft, where to buy the materials, and which trade runs are worth the trip. The goal was to replace the messy spreadsheets players juggle with a single fast web app.
The Challenge
Albion has a player-driven economy with prices that shift by city and by the hour. Working out whether a craft makes money means accounting for material costs, market taxes, return rates and where you can even source the inputs in bulk. Most players do this by hand or not at all. The product had to make that calculation instant, and honest about how reliable each number is.
The Solution
AlbionCore is built as an Astro site for fast, SEO-friendly public pages, with an interactive React app for the tools themselves. Shared TypeScript packages hold the crafting and pricing logic so the same calculations run everywhere. Players sign in with Discord when they want to save their work.
Bank-aware crafting calculator
The core tool computes the real net cost of a craft, factoring in what you already own, market taxes and return rates, and suggests where to source each material by volume. Every result carries a reliability grade from A to D so the player knows how much to trust the data behind it.
Flip finder and trip planner
Beyond crafting, AlbionCore surfaces profitable market flips and plans trade runs between cities, weighing profit against the risk and time of the journey. A community section lets players browse builds and compositions shared by others.
The Result
A single tool that players open before every crafting or trading session, built to load fast, rank in search, and stay honest about the quality of its data. The Astro plus React setup keeps the public pages quick and indexable while the app stays rich and interactive.
